YouTube: Fox Aerotow Aerobatics

Here’s a cool video of a Fox doing aerobatics off of aerotow. The video mistakenly identifies the plane as a Swift, but whatever… good flying all the same!

Because of the angle from which the video is shot, up until the last few seconds of the video, you will think this is a really big (like may be 1/3 or 1/2 scale) Fox model, but then at the end you realize it really is fullscale. It was a cool sensation when the optical illusion was dispelled!

Voltij on Mickeys

Here’s the video that Mike Young and Shane Biddlecomb surely wish they could’ve entered in the 1st Annual SlopeAerobatics.com Video Contest… too bad the conditions didn’t cooperate for their entry in the contest the way they did for this video. That said, the 4th place they did get isn’t so shabby at all!

Regardless, this is a great video of Shane flying a Voltij at one of those fabulous Welsh sites… awesome.

BPLR's Blog

Just picked up this link to BPLR’s blog… lots of cool stuff on there, mostly powered but we all know how much he does with gliders, too ;)

Then there’s always CPLR’s website, too…

Madslide plans available for download

Great news from our friends at Jivaro Models: Benoit Paysant-Le Roux (aka BPLR) has made the plans for both the 1500mm and 2300mm versions of the Madslide available for download (non-commercial use only). This is an awesome opportunity to build one of the hottest VTPR gliders around… check it out!
