Wasabi ready for orders as of Sunday, October 14th, 2007!

Good news, the Wasabi is finally available!

I received this message from Francois Lorrain of FlyBiWo yesterday:

Hello people,

FlyBiwo is pleased to officially launch the Wasabi “total aerobat”

As you all know, our production rate will initially be fairly low at about 8 pcs/month.
Therefore delivery time will quickly get rather long.

In order to give each one of you a fair chance to get a short delivery time, we will start a waiting list that uses the sequence in which your mails arrive in my mailbox ( fl@flybiwo.com ) as from Sunday the 14th 12h00 (Belgian time).

The price of Wasabi is 280€ (tax included) and the average post&packing cost for Europe is 26€

After the waiting list is finalized, I will contact you individually to give an estimated delivery time according to your position on the waiting list.

Feel free to contact me should you have any questions.

Thank you beforehand for your patience.

Best regards,
Francois Lorrain

The Wasabi is going to be available in the U.S. via SoaringUSA and I’m not sure how that’s going to tie in with the availability Francois mentioned above. I will look into and post back here with further details.

UPDATE: I heard back from Francois. He indicates that “all US clients should order through Bob and they don’t need to email me on Sunday.” I also heard that my Wasabi won’t be the only one in the box… contact Bob Breaux at SoaringUSA if you want one of the very first Wasabis in the US!!
