UltraBatics: If You Give To Me (one take nonstop acro)

One last one take sequence from the flying at Ellwood a week ago… this one was filmed after “Dreamsequence” and before the segment with Peter in “Compilation”.

The fog was in the process of burning off so there’s a cool mix of cloud, blue sky, sun, and wind going on. I really like these sort of “in between” conditions; so often Ellwood is cloudless that it’s nice on days like this where we get a little bit of what passes for “weather” here in Santa Barbara.

I am really happy with the flow in this video. Recently been trying to work more rolls into my flying after eschewing them for a long time and it’s fun, helping to keep the “nonstop acro” idea going as I move from figure to figure. There are a number of close passes and one fun belly drag. I stood back from the lip a bit to better capture the low passes so you can see when the weeds get whacked more clearly than in older vids.
