New JGAF vid: Falling with Style

Justin “JGAF” Gafford has come up with a cool new ultrabatic design which he is calling the Buzz – check the build thread here on RCGroups. The plane has a 50″ wingspan and is 100% Justin’s own design, drawing inspiration from the Swiss Fish of Peter Richner, the Aero-Glide colab between myself and Michael Richter, and the X-Centric series by Roger “Cliffhanger” Brown.

Wingspan: 50″ (1270mm)
Weight: 11.4oz (323g)
Airfoil: TP42 (root), TP29 (tip) thinned to 8%
It’s really inspiring to see Justin starting to create his own designs! The Buzz flies great and I’m sure it will just be the first of many more to come from his creative imagination 🙂

I love it! Great flying, looks so fun. Shows the light wingloading needed on these… you look like you are only 50 feet above…
