Success! We finally have video proof of true Madslide-style multi-flips, performed here in the USA by our very own beloved Dawson Henderson. He’s flying his lightweight Le Fish, with an all up weight of around 21oz and TONS of elevator travel:

  1. Yes! Nice one Dawson. The words of the master are correct! Almost 90 degree angle is what its needed.

    I wonder if the swinger would do these…

  2. I think almost any plane can do these, with a CG neutral/rear enough, and sufficient elevator travel. Flaperons probably don’t hurt either, but I think the jury is still out (to a degree) on how much is appropriate / necessary. More tests are needed… are you the right Swinger for the job? 🙂
